What I cook
I grew up in the kitchen, so it’s natural that I would end up cooking for a living. After spending 10 years in corporate America, I decided to move back home and open my own restaurant. It was a big change for me but I loved it. Cooking is something that I can do completely alone and control every aspect of it.
Nowadays, my days are split between cooking and running my business. But despite the hectic schedule, cooking is one of the things that I enjoy most. There’s something about creating something from nothing that appeals to me deeply. And since cooking is such an intimate process, it’s always rewarding when someone enjoys what I’ve created.
So if you’re looking for delicious recipes that will transport you to another world, be sure to check out my website or blog!

Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Browned Butter Topping
This soup is perfect for a chilly day – it’s hearty and warming without being too heavy. The butternut squash is roasted until it’s soft, then blended with creamy broth and some simple spices. For a topping, melt some butter and sprinkle over the soup before serving.
Spaghetti with Garlic and Shallot Sauce
This spaghetti dish is simplicity itself – just garlic, shallots, and pasta cooked in a rich sauce made from butter, flour, and milk. It’s perfect for a quick meal on a busy night. And if you want to make it even more special, add some freshly grated Parmesan cheese at the end.
Chicken Fried Steak with Homemade Gravy
This chicken fried steak recipe is one of Elisa’s most popular dishes – not only because it tastes great but because it’s so simple to make! All you need are boneless beefsteaks (or any cut of meat), eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, butter, and milk; mix everything together well then
